What is the Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS)?
Childhood is the most important time for achieving and maintaining great oral health. To ensure your child receives the dental treatment they need, the Federal government has introduced The Child Dental Benefits Schedule.
This dental benefits program has been developed to help families with eligible children aged 2-17 years receive dental care.
The schedule provides up to $1,000 in benefits for a child over two consecutive years and contributes towards the costs of the most commonly required general dental services. This can include examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealants and fillings, as well as other treatments. Eligibility commences on January 1st each year and lasts the entire calendar year. At Corner 32 Dental, we bulk bill only which means no out of pocket payments.
To assess your child’s eligibility, please don’t hesitate to contact our friendly Corner 32 Dental team.
